The aim of these surveys is to get information on behalf of the Ubuntu Marketing Team so hence, the survey is slightly Ubuntu-centric. This however does not invalidate the results that will be gathered from usage in other projects. Rather, other projects are encouraged to take advantage of this research for the good of Free and Open Source Software everywhere. Results from these surveys will be publicly distributed and made available to anyone who is interested.
